Tall and well-muscled, Charles has a physique that has been honed by centuries of exploration and travel. He possesses deeply blue eyes that sparkle with an insatiable curiosity and seem to twinkle whenever he laughs. His face is etched with the same laughter, and he laughs and smiles often. Most notable are his strong brow and jaw, giving him a noble bearing. He rarely does not meet a fellow participant in any conversation in the eye, and his carries himself with confidence and selfassuredness.

He can come off as effortlessly smooth and composed, and even his clothing suggests someone who does not dress to impress, but pulls it off regardless. Casual suits with no ties, or dress shirts with tie and vest but no coat are most common, though when working, he can be seen with his sleeves rolled up, ready to get down to business with all of his underlings. He keeps his hair cropped short and is rarely unshaved.
